MOSCOW, Feb 1 (PRIME) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin will chair a meeting on privatization of stakes in key companies, oil major Rosneft, flagship airline Aeroflot, oil pipeline monopoly Transneft and telecom operator Rostelecom, later this week and can approve the decision, business daily Vedomosti reported Monday, citing government officials.
There is no money in the state budget, revenue from exports of fuel is decreasing, so the government will sell everything, one of the officials said. He said that Aeroflot, Rosneft, Transneft, Rostelecom and shipping company Sovcomflot are the most likely candidates for sale along with some smaller companies.
A government order enabling to sell these assets was signed on July 1, 2013, an official of the Economic Development Ministry said.
